Marc Andreessen most recently cofounded the venture firm Andreessen Horowitz. Much earlier in his career, he coauthored Mosaic, the first widely used Web browser. He later cofounded Netscape; Loudcloud/Opsware; and Ning. He sits on the board of directors of Facebook, eBay, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, among others.
Kim Malone Scott is currently writing a book called "Radical Candor" to be published early next year by St Martin’s Press. She's also the founder and CEO of Candor, Inc., and an advisor at Dropbox, Kurbo, Qualtrics, Rolltape, Shyp, Twitter, and several other Silicon Valley start-ups. She was a member of the faculty at Apple University and before that led AdSense, YouTube, and Doubleclick's online sales and operations at Google.
Hunter Walk co-founded the early-stage venture firm Homebrew in 2013 after roughly a decade at Google, where he served as the head of product at YouTube after its acquisition by Google. Homebrew is investing its second fund currently, and its bets include the smart cleaning company Managed by Q,  news outlet The Skimm, and the on-demand lawyer platform UpCounsel. Homebrew is also a seed investor in Candor, an online platform that shows managers how their feedback is received and offers regular, specific tips on how to improve.
Connie Loizos is a longtime journalist and the founder of StrictlyVC, a news organization centered around a daily e-mail newsletter that provides readers in the startup industry the news they need to start their day. Loizos got her start in Silicon Valley at the original Red Herring magazine in the late '90s. In addition to running StrictlyVC, she is Silicon Valley Editor at TechCrunch.
